Động Am Tiên Ninh Bình nằm trong quần thể di tích cố đô Hoa Lư, thuộc xã Trường Yên, huyện Hoa Lư, tỉnh Ninh Bình, cách trung tâm thành phố khoảng 10 km. Động Am Tiên được bao quanh 4 bề là núi, tạo ra một thế giới riêng biệt. Phong cảnh nơi đây hùng vĩ, nên thơ nhưng ám một màu u buồn, huyền bí như còn lưu dấn ấn tàn dư của pháp trường năm xưa. Để vào được động, sau khi qua cổng, bạn phải đi xuống một lối đi bên phía tay trái, cạnh hồ nước rộng được thả sen, súng, cá rô Tổng Trường và rùa. Nước ở đây đặc biệt trong xanh, có thể nhìn thấy tận đáy với nhiều rong rêu.
