Vượt qua những bậc thang và đi qua con đường mòn đầy sỏi, lên đến đỉnh núi, bạn sẽ được chiêm ngưỡng cảnh biển đẹp bao la và ngắm nhìn các loại động vật.Trên đỉnh Ma Thiên Lãnh có một tảng đá bằng phẳng, với phong cảnh xung quanh rất đẹp nên gọi là Sân Tiên.

Đa số du khách đến Hòn Sơn thích khám phá đồi Ma Thiên Lãnh, nơi còn lưu giữ nhiều huyền thoại mà mỗi người dân ở đây đều biết đến. Đó là chuyện các nàng tiên thường giáng trần nơi đỉnh núi, gọi là sân tiên. Về sau, nơi đây có nhiều cây rừng, nhiều hang động thanh tịnh nên có nhiều đạo sĩ tìm đến ẩn tu. Trên đường đến Ma Thiên Lãnh hiện còn một tượng Phật lộ thiên và nhiều vết tích của người xưa ghi lại trên đá.
